    APEL examines learning gained through work, training, and professional projects. It is structured against academic level descriptors used by universities.

    Important limits

    APEL outputs are advisory. Final recognition is determined by the receiving institution, which may award credit, partial credit or none.

    Will APEL guarantee credit?
    No. The receiving institution decides whether to award credit and at what level.
